Suez Canal for Containers announces joining of four berthcranes.

 Suez Canal Company for containers has announced receiving four berth cranes, thus raising number of working cranes   at the terminal to 23-winch crane, and are expected to start operation mid of current June

 The company has stated, in a press statement, that the 4 new cranes are characterized by their ability to deal with tonnage reaching 105ton and height reaching 52.5m than the berth and maximum of 72m enabling them to deal with modern generation of giant vessels for transporting containers.  This as a support for it being one of biggest terminals for handling containers at the Mediterranean

  Yan Boza, terminal general manager has expressed that he is optimistic towards economic development plans at Egypt.  He assured that it is capable of being the first of qualified countries competing in the field of containers' handling and logistics services.  From our side we are concerned with reinforcing East Port Said port status being one of the quickest developing ports in the world.  In addition, to being one of strategic focuses for containers’ handling  

  He also pointed that the company together with ABM Terminals are the main participators and operators, and that it is the only terminal inside A. R.E capable of receiving giant vessels of tonnages reaching 18000teu in addition to a storage yard reaching 5.4 million teu.

 Boza has again assured that the company and the Egyptian government are working as partners, where the Egyptian side has dredged the side Canal of East Port Said port applying its government commitment where the company quota in which has reached 15million dollars proving the strong partnership between the two sides.
