Important meetings between Egypt and Greece for developing cooperation in between in the field of maritime transport

Last week has witnessed bilateral important meetings at Cairo between Egypt and Greece in the field of maritime transport and business. They were attended by vice transport minister for infra-structure and networks, kerestos Spertezees and international economic relationship general secretary at Greece foreign ministry, George Tsepras. The visit has lasted for three days from Monday9November to Wednesday 11 November meeting with Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail in order to develop cooperation between the two countries especially in the fields of energy and investment in new Suez Canal corridor in the fields of trade, maritime transport and ports.  

Greece officials will meet with Egyptian Trade Chamber Union, Egyptian Industries Union and Egyptian businessmen Union.  The Greek delegation will be directed to Ismailia to witness work Egypt accomplished at new Suez Canal and debate the possibility of Greek companies participation in projects held in such regions. The two delegations also debate matters related with possibility of operating a new line for passengers and cargo transport between Alex port and Bereh port.
