Suez Canal revenues growth 5.6% and an increase in crossing vessels number to 8.7% last August

  Suez Canal authority statements showed an increase in state’s revenues 5.6% last August though the increase in number of crossing vessels with a percentage of 8.7% in the same month

 Egypt revenues has reached 462.1 million dollar in August after 437.7 million dollar in July, the canal is considered fastest navigational channel between Europe and Asia and a main source of currency for Egypt.

 The authority’s data statements has also showed that the number of crossing vessels in August has increased to 1585 after 1458 vessel in July  

  Egypt has inaugurated on the 6th of last August the new Suez Canal. President Sisi’s government looks forward to the participation of the new Canal in local economy flourish.

  Egypt has dredged in 2014 the new Canal going along side with the original Canal that goes back to 145years  

 Suez Canal authority expects an increase in vessels’ traffic revenues to 13.2 milliard dollar annually by the coming of the year 2023 with an increase to more than the revenues that reached 5.4-milliard dollar achieved by the Canal in 2014.
