Elyoum 7

Ambassador Ali ElEsheery deputy foreign minister for embassy affaires and Egyptian abroad said that our embassy at Tunisia has put an end to detained Egyptians fishermen at Tunisian “Gergeis” port, and that today 12 fisherman will return to their homeland.  Worth noting that such fishermen have entered Tunisian regional waters without license on board of one of the Egyptian boats twenty days ago. Egyptian Embassy and Tunisian authorities have followed the issue and are still making a follow-up of the rest of fishermen.

ElEsheery stresses on the importance of being abided with International law and not to enter the regional water of other countries without license and the repetition of the case will consequently lead to severe sanctions according to the law of such countries assuring that the ministry of foreign affairs is in continuous debates with contiguous countries for the sake of cooperation in the fields of joint exploitation of the Fish Wealth
