421 vessels crossed SC in 9 days with tonnages 28.2 million ton.

 Vice admiral/ Mohab Mameesh, head of Suez Canal authority and of Canal Zone Economic general authority  said that  navigational traffic at the Canal has witnessed during past  days, as from Thursday before the last till last Friday, crossing of 421 vessels the canal navigational channel from both directions with tonnages 28.2 million ton.

 Mameesh has assured that this leap that the Canal traffic witness, whether in number or tonnages, is a firm proof of the New SC project success and the future vision of the canal administration to develop the navigation channel and deepening it to attract vessels of big tonnages, in addition to the authority following a group of flexible marketing policies that attracted many navigational lines that did not cross the canal before.

  Navigational reports issued from SC authority have revealed crossing of 52 vessels Thursday with tonnages 3.3 million ton, 33 vessels crossed Friday with 2.4 million ton and 487 vessels with tonnages 2.6 million ton Saturday, whereas other 47 vessels Sunday of tonnage 3 million ton, Monday 57 vessels have passed of 3.8 million ton, Tuesday 32 vessels  of tonnages 2.3 million ton, Wednesday 61 vessels of 4.7 million ton, Thursday 49 vessels of tonnages 3.2 million ton and finally Friday 43 vessels crossed with 2.9 million  ton from both directions, so that total vessels crossing the Canal during past 9 days reached 421 vessels of tonnages 28.2 million ton.
