MT holding Co.: signing deepening Damietta port berths contract Tuesday.

 Admiral/ Mohamed Youssef, head of Maritime transport holding company said that a Press conference will be held next Tuesday concerning signature of the project of developing and deepening Damietta port container terminal berths, of Damietta company for cargo and container handling at Damietta port, in the attendance of Public Works Sector minister, Hesham Tawfik and head of Petroleum Public authority Eng. Adel Ezz ElRegal.

  Head of Land and Maritime holding company has assured that deepening berths will enable the company to receive container vessels of big depths.

  Youssef has also declared that financing of this project of deepening and developing berths of Damietta port will be done independently without any help or loans.

 He pointed out that the company targets handling of about 1.3 million containers during current fiscal year 2017/2018 whereas 1.2 million containers were handled during past year.   

  Damietta cargo and container handling company results have shown a noticeable improvement in the company’s performance, where total revenues of the main activity fulfilled this fiscal year 2017/2018 has increased about 1.546 milliard pound against 1.041 milliard past year with a growth percentage of 48.4%, It also achieved a net profit 1.162 milliard pound against 908 million pound previous year with a growth percentage 27.9.
