Activating common comprehensive invoice at Damietta port

Damietta port authority has activated common comprehensive invoice which is to be levied from clients for services that are provided for vessels at Damietta port through an electronic system where clients’ invoices are calculated without any interference of human factor; calculations include dues of entities related to vessels’ services, for example maritime transport sector, Egyptian authority for maritime navigation safety, Customs, port’s police, quarantine , Seafarers international club then electronically sent to  banks to be totally levied instead of being  directed to  all related entities so that each entity dues will be paid separately

This comes as a completion to Damietta port authority plan to activate all services that the authority provides for its clients through one window and in accordance with transport policy; aiming at implementing internet linkage of Egyptian ports to link all provided services in Customs

Admiral /Ayman Saleh, head of Damietta port authority has declared that Damietta port is pioneer in electronic management;  through  an electronic system that is periodically updated  by modern applications  making of the port a human base qualified and trained to guarantee success of common comprehensive invoice system through the one window, hence  reducing reliance on paper and expenditures of invoices issuance  in addition to saving time  within the framework of State’s general policy; complementing mechanism of all services provided for clients before end of 2019.
