Egypt ambassador at London hosts IMO delegations; preparing for the organization’s elections.

Ambassador, Nasser Kamel, Egypt’s ambassador at London and admiral/ Tarek Ghanim. head of maritime transport sector hosted delegations of countries’ members at international Maritime organization “IMO” on a banquet to shed light on Egypt vital role in the field maritime transport and its different maritime activities on national, regional and international standards, in addition to the importance of its role on Mediterranean, Red Sea and Suez Canal being an added value facilitating international trade.  

     This comes within the framework of recent preparations of Egypt to undergo IMO council elections, in cooperation with all concerned state’s entities.

 More than 70 countries have responded to the ambassador’s invitation; which reflects the status that Egypt enjoys on the international level.  A number of outstanding personal have attended the celebration headed by transport ministers of KSA, UAE, Bahrain and Iraq.

 Discussions have also witnessed shedding light on giant developmental projects that Egypt witness nowadays whether at ports or Suez Canal Economic Region.
