Location

The port is on the Mediterranean – Abu Kir bay East Edco Port – El Beheira Governorate (3 km North of Edco).

Port Activity

Natural Gas Exportation.

Port Establishment Decree

Presidential decree no. (10) for the year 2004.

Port License Duration

A License contract for establishing managing and operating Edco port was signed for the benefit of the Egyptian company for L.N.G. The Contract is for 50 years and is operating with the free zone system.
