Mameesh: 91 vessels crossing Suez Canal of tonnages 4.9 million ton during two days

 Vice admiral/Mohab Mameesh, head of Suez Canal authority stated in Press releases that the Suez Canal has witnessed the crossing of  91vessel of tonnage 4 million,900thousand tons from both directions  during previous two days.   

Official reports issued from Suez Canal authority have declared that the navigational channel of the Canal has witnessed the crossing of 49 vessel of tonnage 3 million tons.  Where North convoy has witnessed the passage of 24 vessel of tonnage million, 500thousand ton and 159thousand ton Biggest tonnage was of “AL NASRIYA” vessel flying the flag of Marshell islands coming from Spain towards KSA.

Crossed southwards “new Canal “25 vessels of tonnages one million, 500 thousand ton, biggest tonnage of which was 200thousand ton coming from Malaysia “MAGLEBY MAERSK”: Denmark container vessel directed to Holland.  

 Next day 42 vessel of tonnages 1.9 million ton container vessel from both directions crossed the Canal. Also North convoy has witnessed the crossing of 19 vessel of tonnage 700 thousand ton, and biggest tonnage was that of the container vessel TAURUS: 155 thousand ton, coming from Greece towards China flying Malta flag.

   Crossed southwards “new Canal “23 vessel of tonnages one million, 200thousand ton. Biggest tonnage was of Panamanian container vessel MSC CRISTINA:   146 thousand ton coming from Italy.
